For women and families in challenging situations, the center provides a range of services to meet their needs, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals through information, education, referral and support.
SUPPORT SERVICES
Services include:
- Baby Basics Closet
- Ready-to-Ride Program
- Lunch & Learn Support Groups
- Needs-based Support Groups
Support services meet the basic needs and provide support to women going through difficult phases of life.
Baby Basics and Ready-to-Ride offer families with young children assistance with basic needs including clothing, diapers, baby food, empowerment exercises, and car seats.
Lunch & Learn support groups offer a support network and knowledge for topics such as Al-Anon.
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT SERIES
Women’s Empowerment Programs include:
- Economic Seminars
- Empowerment Seminars
- Job Market Prep via clothing options provided on a referral basis
Program topics include:
- Financial Classes
- Computer Classes
- VITA Workshops
Other educational workshops and training opportunities are open to the public and include information on economic education, job training, interview skills, and resume building.
RESOURCE & REFERRAL PROGRAM
Resource and Referral Program includes:
- Referrals to Human Services Providers, with one-on-one information
- Resource Library
- Computer Lab
