Our Fitness Instructors are passionate and knowledgeable about their fitness specialty and our exercise classes are designed to enhance your health and wellness journey at the YWCA. We offer a wide variety of class options to fit a variety of interests and abilities.

Group fitness classes meet in the Group Fitness Room on the 2nd floor.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal Training at YWCA helps you reach your goals with individualized exercise plans for proper form, function, and results. You will gain knowledge to safely & effectively decrease body fat & increase muscle while adding variety to your workouts. Our certified Personal Trainers offer support, motivation, and added accountability to help you reach your personal health and fitness goals.

HEALTHWAYS SILVERSNEAKERS®

YWCA will activate memberships for persons with Healthways SilverSneakers® cards or verification of the sixteen digit number associated with their Healthways ID. This membership includes access to the gym, all land-based group exercise classes, Silver Sneakers® Classes, and full access to water aerobics, lap swim, open swim, and family swim.

MSRM – SilverSneakers

We offer a variety of exercises in chairs, standing, and sitting. Rubber bands are used for flexibility and joint mobility and light weights are used for muscle tone and endurance. We use music to nurture your movement.

This class is highly recommended for people with arthritis, being overweight, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, bursitis, and multiple sclerosis.

SILVER&FIT® FACILITY

YWCA High Point is a participating Silver & Fit facility. As a Silver & Fit member, you can join YWCA High Point for only $25 per year and have access to Silver&Fit® signature classes.

This membership includes access to the gym, all land-based group exercise classes, Silver Sneakers® Classes, and you get full access to water aerobics, lap swim, open swim, and family swim.

YWCA High Point is also a Renew Active and AARP Medicare Supplement Facility.
