Pottery Classes
YWCA brings the arts to downtown
High Point with a pottery studio!
We are excited about the new studio.
In 2006 the YWCA formed a vision task force to establish performance
measures to assess overall programming success. The
final report was released in 2007; we are a downtown mission. We
have been monitoring the progress and results associated with the
strategies recommended in this report. Opening a pottery studio in
downtown High Point is a benchmark result and will generate fee base
programming to continue to support our Hallmark programs.

Oil Painting
Monday's 1 pm - 3 pm
$100 a month (4 sessions)
I have
thoroughly enjoyed my oil painting class at the YWCA. Peggy
Barnes is terrific as our instructor and quite the
encourager for a beginner like me. I would recommend this
class not only for the beginner but also for the more
experienced painter who wants to improve skills.
