YW Teen Moms Helping Others:
The teen moms of the Adolescent Parenting Program, volunteered at the Open Door Ministry on Monday July 12, 2010.
Teen Moms volunteered by helping serve people that were in need of a meal.  They prepared lunch & served it to those that came in for lunch. The young ladies really enjoyed the experience of helping someone beside themselves. They are excited about returning to volunteer again!

The teens also participated in a nutrition class and are having a “Lock-In” for 10 of our young ladies on July 23rd. During this “Lock-In” we have a salon coming in to pamper the girls and talk to them about hair, nails and skin care. There will be games and movies to add to the fun. “Churches Chicken” will provide dinner on Bessemer Ave. in Greensboro. Dessert is provided by “Ben & Jerry’s”.
