Baby Basics Closet
Some families must struggle daily to meet their everyday needs
especially when a new baby arrives. Because of this, the YWCA
of High Point, together with the High Point Task Force of the
Guilford County Coalition on Infant Mortality, provides this
program, called Baby Basics Closet, to help relieve some of the
stress. We help families, at
no charge, with infant care supplies, and children's clothing sizes
newborn to about age two. The items are donated by the community
and distributed by human service workers
to families in need.
We currently have a need for
disposable diapers, clothing and have a waiting list for car seats & cribs.
